Kristy Curtin, MA Director of Communications and Operations

With 20+ years of experience as a Background Investigator, I’ve built a career on detail, trust, and clear communication. My path has also included roles as an Administrator with the U.S. Probation Office, an Electrician Assistant, and a Security Guard with Pinkerton, each sharpening my adaptability and problem-solving skills. More recently, I’ve spent 5 years in advertising, website development, and social media communications, blending creativity with strategy to help businesses connect and grow.

Since stepping away from conducting interviews, I’ve worked with three unique companies—each giving me the chance to build new skills, revisit old ones, and expand my perspective. That growth has led me to my current role with Cyber Risk Management Associates (CRMA.ai), where I continue to apply my investigative mindset and communication strengths in new ways.

Without fail, I take ownership of the tasks that need me most. For the past 10 years, I’ve even completed my own annual IRS and state business financial reports—not because I had to, but because I knew I’d get it done right. That same steady, detail-oriented mindset drives how I approach every challenge: calmly, thoroughly, and without conflict.

Beyond my professional life, I’ve been proud to support military service members and their families through the Key Spouse Mentor program, Yellow Ribbon events, Base Community Council, and family functions—helping during deployments, homecomings, and all of life’s in-between moments. I also volunteer with Americans for Homeopathy Choice, where I’ve built relationships on Capitol Hill, coordinated congressional briefings, and worked to ensure lawmakers understand the importance of protecting consumer access to homeopathic medicine.

At the heart of everything I do—whether it’s investigative work, creative communication, or volunteer advocacy—I value trust, perseverance, and meaningful connection.
